1. The service
Compactly is a hosted tool for processing images and video (keyframe extraction, compression, smart crop and resize). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Credits & billing
Usage is metered in credits (one credit per processing job). New accounts receive a limited number of trial credits. A Pro subscription grants a monthly credit allowance and renews automatically until cancelled; one-time top-up credits are added to your balance. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.
4. Acceptable use
You may not upload content you lack the rights to process, or use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or overload the service.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the files you upload. We process them only to provide the service and delete working copies after your job completes. We claim no ownership of your content.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compactly is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior three months.
